Papaya fruit for digestive health

You might have thought it was just a tasty fruit, but papaya has another side; it can improve poor digestive health and recent research revealed some impressive effects.

Because it is loaded with fiber and digestive enzymes (called papain) a papaya supplement was studied in people with digestive problems. They took 20 ml of papaya extract daily and after the 40-day study had significant improvements in symptoms of constipation and bloating.

So if you want to give your digestion a boost, try some papaya. It is nature’s digestive super food.
